Call or text 2-1-1 and speak with a Gryphon Place operator.
MI Bridges tutorial
To use MI Bridges, you first need a MiLogin account. MiLogin is the sign-in system used for MI Bridges and other Michigan state services. You may already have a MiLogin account if you have used online services offered by the Secretary of State.
If you need help navigating MI Bridges, contact the MI Bridges Help Desk at 1-844-799-9876.

Go to the MI Bridges website.
Select Create an Account.
You will be taken to the MiLogin page. Select Create an Account and follow the instructions.
Enter the requested information, such as your:
Name
Date of birth
Email address
Phone number (if requested)
Social Security number or Case ID (if you have a Medicaid or other MDHHS case)
Create a username and password.
Choose your security questions and how you want to receive updates (email, text, or both).
Complete any identity verification steps, if asked.
Accept the terms and finish creating your account.
After your account is set up, you can:
Apply for benefits.
Check your case status.
Upload documents.
Update your information.
Read notices from MDHHS.
If you already have a MiLogin account for another Michigan state service, you can use the same username and password to sign in to MI Bridges.

Go to the MI Bridges website.
Select Login.
A popup will appear. Select continue to MiLogin.
Enter your User ID or Email and Password.
Check the box to agree to the Terms & Conditions.
Select Login.
If your account has been disabled because you have not used it recently:
Click the link to reactivate your account.
Choose a way to verify your identity. This will usually be by email.
A passcode will be sent to you. Enter the passcode and continue.
Create a new password and continue to finish reactivating your account.
If you have forgotten your password:
Click Forgot your Password below the Password box.
Enter your User ID
If you have forgotten your User ID, click I forgot my User ID.
Enter the email address you think you used for your MiLogin account.
If you cannot remember the email address you used, click I do not have an email and follow the steps.
Choose a way to verify your identity. This will usually be by email.
A passcode will be sent to you. Enter the passcode and continue.
Create a new password and continue to finish reactivating your account.
If you cannot access your account, call the MI Bridges Helpline at (844) 799-9876.

Login to MI Bridges.
On the MI Bridges dashboard, click Settings and Preferences.
Click Edit next to Notification Preferences.
You can add or change your primary phone number, secondary phone number, and email address.
Choose which phone number or email address should receive each type of notification.

Log in to MiLogin. If you are not taken to MI Bridges automatically, click MI Bridges for Resident.
Agree to the Terms & Conditions and click Launch Service.
If you have not used MI Bridges before, you may be asked to complete your profile:
Enter your birthdate and address.
Select Connect with Your Benefits.
Enter your Social Security number and/or your Medicaid or MDHHS Individual ID. Use the same information you used on your benefits application.
A Get ID Proofed pop-up may appear. Follow the steps if you want to add more contact information, such as a cell phone number.
After you complete your profile, you will see the main MI Bridges page. Under Benefit Information, click View Benefits.
Under View Benefits, click Healthcare Coverage. Click Benefits and Case History to check the status of your application.
Under Healthcare Coverage, click Show Benefit Details.
Scroll down to see if your coverage says Active.
If your coverage is active, click the recipient’s name, then click View Details.
Look at the third column labeled Program. This will show whether you have the Healthy Michigan Plan, Traditional Medicaid, or another program.
